Child's Academy : Ready for the Future

The philosopher and Nobel Prize winner Albert Camus once said that, “Real generosity towards the future lies in giving all to the present.” And while some would argue that one shouldn’t worry about the future, we at Child’s Academy care a great deal about it. We put our all into this present. We strive to ardently guide each and every child to the best of our abilities towards a future where we hope they grow up bright, strong, and happy. So yes, the future matters to us— their future.

We have come so far. And we are truly grateful for our continued progress and the acknowledgements we’ve received. Our school, for the second time, has been awarded by the Department of Education as an Outstanding Private Elementary School for 2018 in the small school category; with some of our teachers receiving the same prestige as well. And while accolades are never the motivation of our school, we appreciate being recognized for our hard work. It is with pride that we look back at how far we’ve gone.

So the obvious question that follows this milestone, is where do we go from here? And the answer to that—Child’s Academy is getting ready for the future! We are going through a digital transformation. And that means future-proofing your child’s education so every learner will be ready for the digital world ahead. We are making sure that they are well-equipped to face a world that naturally uses technology day-in and day-out. This school year, with the rise of the new Junior High school building, a new computer lab will be installed. And with the recently installed high-speed internet, each child will be given more opportunities to dynamic digital programmes and learnings, and a more hands-on experience with digital tools such as Google for Education.

Our teachers and staff are trained to implement a digitally-driven internal process and learning program having attended the EduTECH Asia 2018 in Singapore. We will continue to equip our teachers with the necessary skills to prepare your children for the real world. To help our faculty and staff, Child’s Academy has also focused on future-proofing our systems by digitally improving the efficiency of our school administrative process as we believe that this will have a big impact on our overall effectiveness to educate.

We believe in the importance of integrating technology into the curriculum to properly prepare our children for an inevitably digital future. We believe in digital transformation. Digital Transformation is not about technology, it’s about culture. Through a digitalization of the learning experience, Child’s Academy’s goal is for both teachers and students to improve their skills and create a more engaging and effective education process that will make everyone ready for the future.
